Windber Borough is working to prevent stormwater pollution through a stormwater management program. This Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (or MS4) Program addresses storm water pollution from construction, new development, illegal dumping to the storm sewer system, and pollution prevention in our municipal operations.
Through this program, we are also working to educate the community on ways to help protect our stormwater system, and ultimately our streams and rivers.
